The law firm Cheongchul's Attorney Oh Dong-hoon conducted an interview with ‘Global Epic’ regarding ‘similar reception’.

As the economic recession continues, interest in investment is rising, and this is leading to an increase in victims due to scams and similar reception activities.

Unlike in the past, where most similar receptions occurred between individuals, recently, specialized organizations are holding investment briefings or employing professional brokers to use advanced methods to target many individuals and pocket large sums of investment money, resulting in an increase in large-scale investment fraud.

Attorney Oh Dong-hoon of Cheongchul said, “As various investment methods and means emerge, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the average person to determine whether it falls under the category of similar reception,” and added, “Investors must carefully verify whether the business is legitimate and, in cases where they are investigated or subjected to trial due to similar reception, it is important to clearly understand their situation and respond by consulting with a lawyer.”
